Pakistan Showcases AI and Big Data Expertise at TechEx Europe 2025

Amsterdam, Netherlands – September 24–25, 2025    The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), successfully represented Pakistan’s IT industry at TechEx Europe 2025 – AI & Big Data Expo, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The participation highlighted Pakistan’s growing expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Cloud Innovation, further strengthening the country’s presence in the European technology ecosystem.    The Pakistan Pavilion was officially inaugurated by Ambassador Syed Haider Shah, alongside PSEB Director Business Development Shahbaz Hameed and Commercial Counselor Shafiq Haider Virk. The pavilion served as a dedicated platform for showcasing Pakistan’s digital capabilities and fostering international business linkages.    A total of 21 Pakistani IT companies took part in the exhibition — 10 on-ground exhibitors and 11 represented through their European offices — attracting strong interest from global delegates seeking collaboration in outsourcing, automation, and data analytics solutions.    During the two-day event, the Pakistani delegation held focused B2B meetings with leading European tech organizations, including FAAC Technologies (Italy) and the International Trade and Investment Agency (Netherlands), to explore partnerships in AI-driven automation, investment facilitation, and trade promotion. Discussions were also initiated for setting up a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion at TechEx Europe 2026, further solidifying Pakistan’s long-term engagement with the European tech community.    A networking dinner jointly hosted by PSEB and the Embassy of Pakistan in the Netherlands brought together over 40 participants, including representatives from 15 Dutch companies and trade agencies, fostering meaningful dialogue and new collaboration opportunities.    PSEB’s participation at TechEx Europe 2025 underscored Pakistan’s potential as a reliable and innovative technology partner, while advancing the government’s vision to expand the country’s IT exports and global market presence. 

PSEB Hosts “Building Tomorrow” Event to Launch Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan Initiative

The “Building Tomorrow” launch event marked a major milestone in PSEB’s journey to accelerate Pakistan’s digital transformation through the introduction of the Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan initiative. Organized under the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), the event unveiled a comprehensive suite of programs designed to strengthen the digital economy, equip youth with world-class skills, and enhance the global competitiveness of Pakistan’s IT and ITeS sector.    As part of the Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan initiative, key programs announced included Skill Bridge Internships, Skilllift Bootcamps, Global Certification Support, Soft Skills Development, Industry Facilitation Hubs, and Global Access & Networking. Together, these initiatives aim to create a future-ready workforce, improve industry capacity, and position Pakistan as a global hub for digital innovation.    The event brought together over 200 participants, including senior government officials, leading IT companies, academia, and media. Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering youth with globally competitive digital skills, noting,  “With SkillTech Pakistan, we are equipping our youth to lead, innovate, and transform the nation’s digital future.”  The launch received wide national media coverage under the unified TechDestination Pakistan brand.   It strengthened collaboration between stakeholders and reinforced PSEB’s role as a central enabler of digital growth and innovation.
