24th ITCN Asia
The 24th edition of ITCN Asia, organized by E-Commerce Gateway, took place at the Expo Center Lahore from April 18th – 20th, 2024. Renowned as one of Pakistan’s largest IT exhibitions, this three-day event served as a pivotal gathering for the nation’s entire technology ecosystem. The Minister of State for IT and Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima, attended the event. ITCN was also attended by a delegation from the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), including their Secretary General, Ms. Deemah Al Yahya. Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) established a TechdestiNation Pakistan Pavilion and offered a 50% subsidy on stall costs to 50 companies, thereby fostering their business development and growth. PSEB launched an initiative to form specialized focus groups tailored to different industry verticals, providing a dynamic platform for professionals to connect.
25th ITCN Asia
ICCD partners with ITCN Asia 2024 to unite tech leaders, innovators, and OIC stakeholders for groundbreaking innovations, economic growth, and the BOE Asia forum on Agri-tech. ICCD proudly partnered with the 25th ITCN Asia, held from August 27 to 29, 2024, at the Karachi Expo Centre, Pakistan. The event brought together technology enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators to shape the future of technology. Showcasing groundbreaking innovations, modern technology, and transformative networking opportunities, ITCN Asia 2024 served as a pivotal platform for driving the next wave of digital advancement. Through this collaboration, ICCD and ITCN Asia fostered strong business connections, boosted investment opportunities, and strengthened economic cooperation among OIC member countries. The event created a space for knowledge sharing and innovation, paving the way for sustainable economic growth and cross-border partnerships. Attendees engaged with leading experts, explored emerging trends, and tapped into new markets within the global technology ecosystem. A key highlight was ICCD’s first-ever BOE Asia forum, held on August 28, 2024, under the theme “Agri-tech: Feeding the Future.” The forum spotlighted the role of Agri-tech in driving sustainable agriculture and enhancing regional trade. By addressing key challenges and exploring growth opportunities, BOE Asia inspired smarter, more efficient agricultural practices and fostered collaborative efforts to propel the future of Agri-tech in the region.
Pak-Saudi Business Forum
The Pak-Saudi Business Forum, attended by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, took place on 10th October 2024, bringing together government officials and business leaders from Pakistan and KSA to explore key areas of collaboration. Pakistan’s IT sector briefing, part of the forum’s agenda, was co-chaired by Pakistan’s Minister of State for IT and Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Mr. Fahad Abdulrahman Alshabanah, General Manager of Information Communications and Technology at the Saudi Ministry of Investment. Pakistan Software Export Board facilitated 34 companies for a B2B session during the forum which resulted in the generation of 47 leads and the signing of 3 MoUs. This forum marked a pivotal step in deepening the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both nations committed to fostering innovation and accelerating growth in the IT and telecommunications sectors.
