The ICT Internship Program, a flagship initiative by the Pakistan Software Export Board, has been instrumental in bridging the gap between academia and industry by equipping young graduates with the skills and experience required to excel in the ICT sector.

The IT Soft Skills training program, sponsored by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and executed in collaboration with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA), was a highly impactful initiative designed to enhance the professional competencies of Pakistan’s IT workforce.
The program delivered 48 hours of comprehensive modules on communication, leadership, and client management conducted in four cohorts across Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. It successfully trained 509 participants.
The GDPR project aims to certify 50 companies on ISO-27001 and ISO-27701 standards for GDPR compliance, with 25 companies certified to date. The initiative has significantly boosted business outcomes for companies. 66% of companies have created or enhanced job opportunities, while 93% have achieved better customer retention and business acquisition. All regulatory compliance requirements have been successfully met, showcasing the program’s impact and effectiveness.
