Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is pleased to announce the signing of a Youth Development Agreement with ZTE Pakistan today.
The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Faisal Jeddy, CEO PSEB, and Mr. Jiang Duxin, Deputy CEO, ZTE, in a signing ceremony marking a significant step towards strengthening Pakistan’s ICT talent ecosystem.
The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Henna Karamat, CSDO, along with her team from PSEB, and Mr. M. Rizwan Rathore, Deputy CEO ZTE Pakistan, along with the ZTE team.
This agreement is a follow-up step to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to China in September 2025. During the visit, the Honorable Prime Minister met Ms. Fang Rong, Chairperson of ZTE Corporation, along with Honorable Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Secretary IT & Telecom Mr. Zarar Hashim Khan. An MoU was also signed with ZTE Pakistan during the visit, represented by CEO Mr. Li Guowen and Deputy CEO Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Rathore.
Under this collaboration, training programs will be offered to students and faculty in advanced and emerging technologies, including 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and modern communication technologies. The initiative aims to train 100,000 students through online programs, along with Training of Trainers for 100 professionals to further scale knowledge dissemination across the country.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital transformation and building a future-ready ICT talent pool in Pakistan.
