PSEB Hosts “Building Tomorrow” Event to Launch Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan Initiative

The “Building Tomorrow” launch event marked a major milestone in PSEB’s journey to accelerate Pakistan’s digital transformation through the introduction of the Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan initiative. Organized under the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), the event unveiled a comprehensive suite of programs designed to strengthen the digital economy, equip youth with world-class skills, and enhance the global competitiveness of Pakistan’s IT and ITeS sector. 

 

As part of the Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan initiative, key programs announced included Skill Bridge Internships, Skilllift Bootcamps, Global Certification Support, Soft Skills Development, Industry Facilitation Hubs, and Global Access & Networking. Together, these initiatives aim to create a future-ready workforce, improve industry capacity, and position Pakistan as a global hub for digital innovation. 

 

The event brought together over 200 participants, including senior government officials, leading IT companies, academia, and media. Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering youth with globally competitive digital skills, noting, 

“With SkillTech Pakistan, we are equipping our youth to lead, innovate, and transform the nation’s digital future.” 

The launch received wide national media coverage under the unified TechDestination Pakistan brand.

 

It strengthened collaboration between stakeholders and reinforced PSEB’s role as a central enabler of digital growth and innovation.
