Pakistan is set to make a significant mark at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 with its largest-ever delegation of over 60 gaming leaders, developers, and innovators. As one of the fastest-growing sectors in Pakistan’s tech industry, the game development ecosystem is thriving, and GDC provides an unparalleled platform to showcase its talent, creativity, and expertise on a global scale.

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), is establishing a 37-square-meter Networking Lounge at GDC, the world’s premier event for game developers. This dedicated space will serve as a hub for Pakistani gaming companies to connect with international stakeholders, explore collaboration opportunities, and highlight their contributions to the global gaming landscape.

The global gaming industry is experiencing exponential growth, with a projected CAGR of 10%, expected to reach $424 billion by 2033. As the United States remains Pakistan’s top export market, contributing over 50% of its ICT exports, participation in GDC serves as a gateway to significant business opportunities. Pakistani companies have generated over 540 business leads worth $5.5 million at previous editions of GDC, and the momentum continues to grow.

With multiple networking events lined up in San Francisco, the venture capital hub of the world, Pakistan’s leading gaming studios, developers, and tech entrepreneurs are set to engage with industry pioneers, investors, and publishers. The presence at GDC 2025 underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening global partnerships, and accelerating the growth of its gaming industry, which is expanding at an annual rate of 9%.

GDC 2025 will take place from March 17 to 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Pakistan’s participation reflects the country’s dedication to positioning itself as a key player in the global gaming and technology ecosystem.
